Parents: Vervegirl and Youth Culture

As parents, you are always looking for positive, uplifting, creative opportunities for your children. My daughter asked ’with all those other girls applying, how do I get in?’ We suggested she make her own version of Vervegirl Magazine which sparked an unexpected growth and focus within her.
As parents, you are always looking for positive, uplifting, creative opportunities for your children. My daughter asked ’with all those other girls applying, how do I get in?’ We suggested she make her own version of Vervegirl Magazine which sparked an unexpected growth and focus within her. She successfully orchestrated it all – driven from her love of Vervegirl Magazine. Her internship with Vervegirl further fueled her desire to learn about the publishing industry and helped grow her self esteem. We are experiencing the joy of watching our little girl mature intellectually, emotionally and socially as she navigates her way through her world. We believe Vervegirl will prove to be one of those points in Jessica’s life that started her in a most positive direction. Kids can do anything if they put their mind to it. Jessica's experience at Vervegirl has made her believe it.

We would like to give a heart-felt thanks, to everyone at Youth Culture and a special thank you to the Editor-in-Chief, Xania Khan for being the mentor and a guide that a young mind needs.
