Students encouraged to get active with
Striker Soccer Balls and
B-Zone magazine

Toronto (April 14, 2008), Youth Culture – Daily physical activity, already mandatory in Ontario with B.C. set to follow in September, is becoming the norm in Canada’s elementary schools. With that in mind, Striker and B-Zone magazine are pleased to present the B-Fit Soccer Kit, a free teacher’s aid created to encourage students to keep active.

Each kit is equipped with 12 Striker soccer balls and an activity guide filled with fun activities designed to maximize student participation.

“The key is to get kids active while having fun.” Said Puneet Girdhar, from Cintex International, which owns the Striker Brand. “We chose an in-school campaign so teachers could focus on physical activity, drive attention to its benefits and get everyone in the class involved. Soccer is a sport that exemplifies physical fitness, fun and team work. We thought it would be a great opportunity to support Canadian schools with this program.”

The B-Fit Soccer Kits will be available to schools April 14th.
